With a clear emotional and theological spine, Wintry Mix lives in the space between shepherds and angels, between Mary’s “yes” and everything it disrupted.
It’s not a worship album—but it is a belief album.

Well... here we are and here we go! I just got an email yesterday confirming that the class substitution I needed to officially meet all the degree requirements was approved, so... it looks like your girl is officially a Commercial Music graduate. For whatever it's worth. Which -- let's be honest -- on paper, as a piece of paper doesn't really mean much -- no artist is gonna hire me sound-unheard because I have a degree (and a certificate!) and there are countless good and successful commercial music producers without commercial music degrees. Ultimately, the degree part of getting this degree will be the most useless part of the whole experience, but the experience??? -- 😮💨 -- The experience was the point.
I learned so much about so many things I wasn't even thinking about and may have never run across had I not been spending 3 to 4 days a week at the local community college. What began an endeavor to get out of the house when I couldn't seem to find a job to save my life, has led to me venturing even farther into the waters of independent artistry -- stepping out to offer my services as a mixing and mastering engineer (scary) and stepping up to attempt to make the creative collective I've been building in my head a real-life reality (terrifying).
And so as I said at the beginning:
Welcome to StoryShares. Here we are. And here we go!
Watching, witnessing and weaving folklore of the future.
